After our hike, we explored the stream. Lyla is really interested in water right now and she had so much fun reaching into the water and watching leaves float down the stream.
Wow! Look how tall Lyla is now! She can reach the door knob!
Okay, so not really! They have a small room called the Little House that is geared towards the little ones and even has a little door just their size.
As you can see we had the whole room to ourselves. It was fun! We read books (3 books closer to our goal of 100! Check out how were doing!), played with puzzles, explored the materials, and enjoyed some quiet play time. It was the perfect place to wind down after our hike.
Lyla was passed out in the car about a minute after we started driving home. It was the perfect outing which I think we will try to repeat next week if the weather is still as beautiful.
