Hello and welcome to our new Blog! This is our first try at this kind of thing…after vain attempts at a pregnancy journal and baby journal (we’ll get around to completing them some day); we hope this is something we can keep up with.
Lyla is 11 weeks and 6 days old today! I can not believe three months is right around the corner. Life has been a roller coaster ride since she came into our lives, but it has been the most amazing adventure I have ever embarked on…and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
About our little June bug… She is now a whopping 13 pounds and has grown to 24 inches long. She is becoming a very happy baby and only seems to fuss a total of maybe 2 hours now. She has been sleeping through the night for over a month now (Yea!) The trick was to put her in a straitjacket…uh I mean swaddle before bed. The SwaddleMe blanket is a miracle and we could not live without it! Her pediatrician says only up until 4 months, so we are dreading the day we will have to say goodbye to this lifesaver. Here are a few pictures of our baby girl.
Wrapped up in her pea pod
Looking very serious
I like this picture because she looks tough...in a cute baby way

Grandma & Grandpa Tipton say: our Little Miss Texas June Bug is the prettiest, sweetest, little girl this side of the Rio Grande, and you should see her cousin Renzo, he's a fine little Buckeroo.
She is such a cute little girl! Olivia was a big baby too - I loved all the rolls.
And, I'm glad you are starting a blog for her - we will keep checking back!
I am so excited about your blog! I love the pictures! Lyla is quite the model!
Lyla is precious! Thanks for sharing this blog with us!

Little Lyla is so cute I would just like to pinch her cheek!!! I love her rolls, but, they sure look cuter on her than they do on me..... Keep the pictures coming. Great Uncle Ben & Great Aunt Carole
To "Little Lyla Belle"
Pictures show,
she's a bundle of joy.
And maybe at times,
a little coy.
With little cheeks,
so plump and fat.
Wow!!! She has more hair,
than what's under my hat...
Great Uncle Ben
