Lyla has been a very busy girl lately! On Sunday we went out to Mason to visit Granny and Grandpa and enjoy the gorgeous views of the countryside. It is so beautiful and relaxing out there! Lyla loved hanging out on the front porch while we enjoyed our favorite Mexican food from Santos and a sinful pecan pie that Granny made.
On Monday, Lyla's cousin Renzo came to visit and we went to the Children's Museum. It was the neatest place and we can't wait to go back. On Monday mornings they do a special thing called "Baby Bloomers" where they open their doors to little ones 3 and under. They do a special story, song, and art time. Lyla was asleep when we first got there so Renzo and I ran to the top of the train tower and looked down over all the kiddos.
Lyla woke up just in time for song and bubble time and had a blast.

In addition to doing lots of things this past week, Lyla is learning lots of new things. Here she is learning how to drink from a glass. She is also scooting all over the place, so some video of that is soon to come!
