Here are her stats:
Height: 29 inches (50%)
Weight: 19 lbs (25-50%)
Head: 47 cm (90-95%)
She did...um...pretty well for Lyla. She knows instantly, when we step through the doors, where we are and what is about to happen. She was very calm and relaxed in the waiting room, but when it was time to get her weight, height, and temp taken she pretty much lost it. We had her calmed down again in the exam room with toys and books we had brought with us. She was laughing and playing and acting very normal and then the doctor came in and everything changed. We only wished we had a video camera to capture the expression on Lyla's face the minute the doctor stepped through the door. She knew instantly where this was all going and what was to come. She cried from then on until we left.
Ouch! She got three shots today!
All news was good. She is right on target with everything! Since she is still having allergy issues with dairy, we are going to get allergy testing this week to see how bad it is. In the meanwhile we are going to start her on soy milk!
The doc also recommended we start trying to take the paci from her, so that ought to be a lot of fun...
She gave us the go ahead on eggs, so when we got home we tried them out!
Yum yum! She took a few bites and seemed to like them, but was pretty tired from all the crying that she wasn't too interested to clean her plate.
We go back to the doc at 15 months in August!
