Weekend

The weather has been so incredibly warm lately that we decided to blow up our little kid sized pool and see what Lyla thought! She seemed to have a great time, although the water was really cold so she did everything she could to not sit down. If it is this warm right now, I am sure we will be spending a lot of time in the pool this summer!





For Mother's Day we headed out for a fun family day at the Nature Center and Botanical Gardens. Unfortunately, the Nature Center wasn't open, but we ended up having a wonderful time at the Botanical Gardens.

Ever since her birthday, Lyla had decided that walking is the best way for her to get around...so she is all over the place now! She must have liked our backyard pool better than we thought because it took everything we had to keep her out of the pond at the Gardens.

Lyla got a big girl car seat for her birthday! She tested it out for the first time on Sunday and it seems like she really loves it! She is not big enough to turn it around yet, but she doesn't seem to mind that too much.
