Cheese Please!

We got the results from Lyla's allergy testing, and as it turns out she is not allergic to ANYTHING! She has a very very slight allergy to egg whites, but the doctor said she will outgrow it and that it shouldn't stop us from letting her eat them...if she actually would. Our biggest concern was dairy since she broke out in hives every time her skin got in contact with any dairy product. I was totally surprised to hear that she has no allergy to milk whatsoever.

I tried giving her some cheese today as a snack and she ate one piece just fine, but then gagged on the next two and gave up. I was really impressed that she tried it since she is a little on the picky side when it comes to food.

You would think they would jump all over the cheese right...NO! Mason was the same way, I was so excited about it...him not so much:) We got him eating yogurt to start and then goldfish crackers, now he loves the goldfish! He spit out every bit of cheese offered before that, his new fav this week is quesadilla on whole wheat tortilla...he really likes tortllia though, so it's just a vehicle for the cheese! He hates eggs also! What are we going to do with these picky eaters?
